Growing up Kenny Wregget was one of my favorite goalies, sharing ice time with Tom Barrasso between the pipes for the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 1990's and helping secure the 1992 Stanley Cup Championship. Always a solid backup, Wregget was always up to the task to be a great goalie when injury sidelined Barrasso. Great goaltending is always a crucial part of a team's success and the Penguins in the 90's combined an explosive offense with top notch defense which regularly kept them in the playoff race. Wregget would also sport one of the most memorable goalie helmets, showcasing Danny Devito's "The Penguin" character from Batman Returns.
